Beauty Tips for Prom Night 2013

It isn’t just around the corner anymore… prom is HERE. It’s the night with magic in the air that transforms you into anything you want to be. I’ll spare you the Cinderella reference. It’s one of the most memorable occasions that you’ll look back on and still feel the sparkling fairy dust of nostalgia. So consider me your glam godmother as I guide you on how to look as beautiful as you’ll feel!
5 PROM Tips- Because I don’t like “Rules”
#1 Skin, Skin, Skin
You want your glow to come from within so make sure your skin is in prime shape to enlighten them all. Be sure to drink plenty of h20 and treat your skin to a rejuvenating organic Eminence facial! Exfoliate to remove dead skin cells and dirt that can dull your complexion. My favorite is the Pear & Poppy Seed Microderm Polisher, it’s infused with Green Tea antioxidants. For a hydrating mask you can make yourself- mix a mashed banana, 1tsp. yogurt and 1tsp. honey! Your skin will look and feel delicious!
#2 Pick Your Point of Focus
Whether you want to hypnotize with a smoky eye or play up your cupids bow… pick your weapon to detonate some attention! Captivate with one area of focus and you’ll stand out above the rest. I’m obsessed with Jane Iredale’s Smoke Pallete that’ll give you numerous looks from boho chic to sultry. For lips: your allies are with the 3 musketeers: lip LINER, lip STICK, and lip GLOSS! 
#3 Contour & Highlight
This is where the magic happens. Thiswill make your features POP out of the photographs and you’ll look like an ethereal goddess! Take a matte bronzer and contour your cheek bones, bridge of nose and jaw line. Highlight your forehead, underneath your eyes, above the brow, on the chin and just above your cupid’s bow and you’ll be sculpted to perfection!
#4 Purse Essentials
Prom is going to be a crazy whirlwind of dancing and enjoying the beauty of life! You’ll want to be prepared with all your beauty essentials so you remain looking like a fresh, perfect princess. Your tools:
- Blotting Paper
- Eyelash Glue
- Lipgloss
- Shout Pen
- Powder
Any cosmetics you want to touch up with but will be too bulky for your fabulous clutch can easily be transported with a Z-Palette! You just depot your blush, eyeshadows, etc and put it in an empty magnetic palette that will become your best friend.

#5 Document EVERYTHING!
Your photos are the equivalent to a time travel machine! You can look back on the photos any time you want and remember this beautiful moment in time.
